The St. Michael Foundation

Established in 1971, the St. Michael Lutheran Church Foundation allows the church to enhance the mission, outreach and ministry of the Congregation. By using only a portion of the annual earnings of the Congregation’s Endowment Fund, the Fund continues to grow and provide a permanent source of income to support the Church’s Christian outreach with a variety of special ministry opportunities. The Foundation Board consists of the Pastor and six elected officers of the church.

The Foundation has made over 100 awards totaling over $91,399 since 2006 to:

  • St. Michael youth, women and men programs

  • Small group ministry

  • Acts 1:8 mission support

  • Vacation Bible School

  • Seminarian support

  • Youth mission trips

  • World mission projects (i.e., Pack Away Hunger)

  • Ministry training and education

  • Church ministry needs to enhance our worship experience

About the Foundation Awards

The foundation accepts applications for funds in the first quarter of every year. Anyone can apply for an award for ministry and projects that connect people to Jesus. Award recipients are notified at the end of April.
