Beauty is in the Eyes of Our Beholder

“You are altogether beautiful.”

Song of Songs 4:7

Women’s Fall Retreat 2018

October 27

9:00a – 4:00p
Camp Lutherhaven
Albion, Indiana
You have heard the phrase, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,” but who is the beholder and how is beauty determined?  Women easily slip into thinking the “beholder” is the current culture, which says, “you are not beautiful enough,” “you don’t do enough,” or “you don’t say the right thing.”  Hopelessness sets in, and we end up seeing ourselves through the eyes of judgement.

What if the Beholder is our loving God?  He has many things to say to us about how we…

  • hear His words of truth;
  • touch the hem of His garment and find healing;
  • are seen as clothed in Christ;
  • become a sweet smelling fragrance to those around us; and
  • taste His goodness!

You are completely beautiful because of Jesus!

Women of all ages and Bible knowledge are invited to attend this special one-day event.   Invite your friends, family, and neighbors!

There is an additional option to stay Friday and/or Saturday night for fellowship and relaxation—no schedule—just time for you!   Friday night fellowship begins at 5:00p.  Bring your own dinner.  Saturday night fellowship begins at 6:00p with a pizza dinner.
