Allow us to introduce ourselves…..

What should I expect?  Visiting a church for the first time can make you a bit nervous.  We want to put you at ease.  It’s so good to see you!

What do I wear?  Wear something casual but appropriate and comfortable.  Jeans are fine as are shorts.  Jesus dressed casual for church, so you can too!

Where do I park?  You may park anywhere in the lot to the south of the main entrance to the church.  Click here for a map to the church

Where do I enter?  The main entrance to the church is under the first overhang with the 4 sets of double entrance

Will I be asked to join some club or something? Uh.. well.. no..  No secret handshake either. Just come in and experience the presence of God!

What if I have questions when I arrive? Greeters will welcome you at the main entrance and in the Narthex. If you have any questions, we are here for you!
What if I have small children? Your kids are a precious gift from God! St. Michael strives to be a family-friendly church so that family members of every age know how very important they are to their Heavenly Father and to the church. We desire that your child’s first experience with God’s house is one marked by love and security. We hope that this ministry frees you up to experience God in worship and/or Bible study in a meaningful way! It is important to us that you are able to entrust your child to the nursery staff with peace of mind that he or she will be well taken care of. To accomplish this, our nursery staff have been trained and have successful background checks completed.
Will I have to give money?  Somewhere in each service we have a time where our members have an opportunity to give an offering to the Lord. While you are welcome to participate in the offering if you desire, we want you to know that we do not expect your participation. We are not inviting you to St. Michael for your money. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in our church a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a home where you can grow in God’s grace. Please do not feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
What are the services like? We’ll have some singing at the start, followed by a great message from the pastor (click here to listen to a sermon) and then some more singing. Some services have communion but don’t worry about participating.
